Just like many of you, I have a huge inventory, like totally ridiculously HUGE. So huge in fact that I made a SL Marketplace store to help unburden my closet space of multiple gacha (RIP) duplicates. So huge that I made a Flickr page to memorialize the outfits I change into multiple times a day. So huge that I decided to start a blog and share my discovered designer treasures... both brand new and new to me.
And this brings me to the topic of this page. Pictures! No, not pictures for your Flickr page. I'm talking about pictures of the items that you've purchased. Pictures are extremely helpful. It can take so long to dress your avatar. Even longer when you are trying to figure out what tattoo, makeup, clothing, hair, shoes, skin, jewelry, etc that you want to wear. You check your different tattoo folders and *Gasp!* no picture. So you try on the different tattoos hoping to find the one that you want to wear. It's sooooo much easier if the designer puts a picture in with the item.
I sure do. Thankfully more & more Designers are doing this.
If you want pictures for your inventory items that didn't come with one:
1 - You can look for it on Marketplace, then save the picture to your computer, then upload it for $10 linden.
*Don't know how to upload a picture from your computer? Build > Upload > Image (L$10)
2 - You can TP to the store that made the item, then take a snapshot of it, then save it to your inventory for $10 linden.
3 - You can wear the item, then take a snapshot of it, then save it to your inventory for $10 linden.
Since many stores are still not including a picture with your purchase those extra $10 lindens can really add up, especially if you are like me and simply must have a picture for everything.
